Create a publication designed to be kept. Our hardback books combine professionally printed internal pages with a rigid casebound cover for a substantial, durable and premium book-like finish.

Ideal for company histories, school yearbooks, premium reports, portfolios, commemorative books, limited editions and presentation publications.

Hardback binding is particularly suited to projects where presentation, durability and perceived quality are important. The rigid cover gives the finished publication greater presence and protection than a conventional soft-cover booklet.

For a lighter, more economical book-style publication, consider our Perfect Bound Booklets. For shorter publications, a Stapled Booklet may be more suitable.

Hardback book specification

Please supply two print-ready PDF files. Your internal pages should be supplied as individual pages in normal reading order. Your cover should be supplied separately as a complete spread including the front, back, spine, hinge and required wrap-around area.

The finished spine width depends on the page count and paper selected, so use the artwork template provided for your chosen specification when preparing the cover.

Artwork should include 3mm bleed, a 10mm safe zone, CMYK colour, 300dpi images and embedded or outlined fonts. If you're unsure about preparing hardback artwork, contact us before submitting your files.
