Stapled booklets — also known as saddle-stitched booklets — are a clean, cost-effective way to produce professional multi-page publications.

Ideal for company brochures, newsletters, annual reports, programmes, catalogues, presentations and short publications, with a wide choice of sizes, papers, covers and finishing options.

IMPORTANT — PAGE COUNT

Stapled booklets are supplied in multiples of four pages.

Choose from 8 to 48 pages. Because the booklet is created from folded printed sheets, the total page count must be divisible by four — for example 8, 12, 16, 20 pages and so on.

A5 Portrait

A versatile all-round choice for brochures, programmes, newsletters and information booklets. Compact and easy to distribute while still providing plenty of room for content.

A4 Portrait

Ideal when you need more space for detailed information, larger photography, charts, reports or presentation-style content.

Square & Landscape

A distinctive choice for image-led brochures, portfolios and publications where the format forms part of the overall design.

Paper & cover options

The paper you choose can completely change the feel of your booklet. Select from lighter papers for practical publications through to heavier stocks for brochures and presentation pieces.

Inside pages

Choose from smooth white, uncoated, silk and gloss papers. Lighter papers help keep larger booklets manageable, while heavier stocks create a more substantial feel. Silk is a versatile choice for brochures containing a mixture of text and images.

Cover material

Choose a matching paper cover or upgrade to a heavier card stock for greater rigidity, durability and a more premium appearance.

NOT SURE WHAT PAPER TO CHOOSE?

150gsm silk is a strong all-round choice.

It gives inside pages a quality feel without making the finished booklet unnecessarily bulky and works particularly well for brochures, programmes and marketing publications. For a more substantial brochure, consider combining silk inside pages with a heavier silk cover.

OPTIONAL COVER FINISHING

Add matt, gloss or soft-touch lamination.

Selected cover stocks can be laminated for added protection and a more finished appearance. Choose matt, gloss or soft-touch lamination, applied to one side or both sides where available.

Saddle-stitched booklet printing is particularly suited to shorter publications that need to look professional while remaining economical and easy to distribute.

Setting up your booklet artwork.

Please supply your booklet as one multi-page print-ready PDF, with individual pages in normal reading order from the front cover through to the back cover. There is no need to create printer spreads or impose the pages yourself.

Bleed: 3mm all round

Safe area: Keep important content at least 5mm from the finished edge

Resolution: 300dpi recommended

Colour: CMYK

File format: Print-ready PDF

Fonts: Embedded or outlined

Remember: your total page count must be a multiple of four. Supply individual pages rather than two-page spreads — we'll take care of the imposition for printing and finishing.
