Measure the wall carefully
Accurate measurements are important. Walls, ceilings and floors are not always perfectly straight or square, so don't rely on a single measurement.
Measure the width
Measure across the wall at the top, middle and bottom. Use the largest measurement when placing your order.
Measure the height
Measure from top to bottom at the left, centre and right of the wall. Again, use the largest measurement.
Don't add extra to the dimensions you enter
Enter the actual measured wall width and height. We add approximately 50mm fitting allowance around the outer edges during production, so you don't need to increase your measurements to allow for trimming.
Look at the whole wall before designing
Measurements alone don't tell the whole story. Consider anything that interrupts the wall or will permanently sit in front of your graphic when deciding where important parts of the design should appear.

Keep important content clear
Keep logos, text, faces and other critical design elements well away from the outer edges of the wall and from windows, radiators, sockets, switches and other fixtures. Where possible, important content should also be kept away from panel joins.
HOW YOUR WALL GRAPHIC IS SUPPLIED
One complete design, supplied in installation-ready panels.
Larger wall graphics are divided into approximately equal-width vertical panels, each no more than approximately 1300mm wide. Adjoining panels include approximately 20mm overlap to assist with alignment during installation. We also add approximately 50mm fitting allowance around the outside of the complete graphic for final trimming to the wall.
Why we matt laminate wall graphics
Matt laminate is included as standard rather than offered as an optional extra. It adds a protective layer over the printed surface, helping protect your graphic from everyday handling and light scuffing.
Its low-reflection surface also reduces glare from windows and interior lighting, helping large graphics, photographs and branding remain easy to view from different angles while creating a smooth, professional finish.

Preparing the wall
Wall graphics should be applied to a smooth, clean, dry and sound surface. Paint should be fully cured and firmly bonded to the wall, with no loose or flaking areas, dust, grease, damp or other surface contamination.
Newly painted walls
Allow new paint to fully cure before installation. We recommend waiting at least 7 days and following the paint manufacturer's curing guidance where a longer period is specified.
Smooth surfaces work best
Heavy texture, damaged paint, loose surfaces and significant imperfections can affect adhesion and the finished appearance.
Some paints need testing
Washable, easy-clean and some low-VOC paints can be more difficult for self-adhesive graphics. Where there is any doubt, test a small area before committing to the full installation.
IMPORTANT — REMOVAL
Permanent wall graphics are not a damage-free removable covering.
Our wall graphics use permanent adhesive to provide a reliable installation. Removal may lift paint, leave adhesive residue or damage the underlying surface, particularly where paint is poorly bonded, recently applied or the wall surface itself is weak. Because wall and paint conditions vary, we cannot guarantee damage-free removal.

Get the best finish from your wall graphics.
Full-wall and multi-panel graphics require accurate positioning, alignment of adjoining panels and careful trimming around ceilings, floors, corners and fixtures. We recommend installation by an experienced vinyl graphics installer.
Site surveys and professional installation can be arranged at additional cost, subject to project requirements and location.

ARTWORK
Supply one complete wall design.
Supply your artwork as one complete design at the correct proportions for the wall. You do not need to divide the design into panels — we'll do that for you.
Your artwork must contain enough image or background beyond the intended finished edges to extend into the fitting allowance. Do not place important text, logos, faces or other critical content close to the edges of the wall.
Also consider windows, doors, radiators, sockets, switches, light fittings and other fixtures when positioning important elements. Where possible, critical content should also avoid panel joins.
PDF artwork is preferred. Large-format artwork can be supplied at a reduced scale where necessary, provided the proportions and image quality are suitable. If you're unsure, send the artwork to us and we'll check it before production.
